Aline Laurence Girard, France.  (1959 -   )

Born 1959 at Rochefort-sur-Mer, Charente Maritime, France. At various times has been a student of literature and has also had practical experience in cabinet-making, framing and magazine production. 1989-91: Attended adult education courses at the School of Art in Avignon, where she has had her home and studio since 1980, following her artistic career working full-time with sculptures - mostly using wood and found objects - and with postal art.

She has taken part in many individual and group exhibitions of 'outsider' and contemporary art in the South of France and elsewhere in Europe. In 2003 she curated a major postal art expo "Tout le monde est un Théâtre" ("All the World's a Stage") organised in conjunction with the 57th Avignon Festival.
